Prof. Alex James, Ph.D. is a Full Professor of AI Hardware and Dean (Academic) at Digital University Kerala. He completed his Ph.D. in 2 years at Griffith University, Australia. His research focuses on brain-inspired systems, intelligent semiconductor devices, and analog circuits. He leads several key projects, including the MeitY-funded Centre for Intelligent IoT Sensors and the India Innovation Centre for Graphene. He is the founding chair of the IEEE Kerala Section Circuits and Systems Society and serves on multiple IEEE technical committees. Prof. James is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of both the British Computer Society and IET, and holds several editorial roles in prestigious journals.
