ReGECK-in: Alumni Assembly 2024

Dear GECKA Family,

On August 15, 2024, the Government Engineering College Kozhikode hosted a heartwarming and vibrant “ReGECK-in” – Alumni Assembly 2024. It was a day filled with pride, celebration, and reconnecting with old friends.

We began our gathering with a poignant flag hoisting ceremony, commemorating Independence Day and setting the tone for the event. The highlight of the morning was the inauguration and Achievement Awards, where we proudly recognized the remarkable accomplishments of our PhD achievers. Their successes stand as a testament to the excellence and perseverance that define our alumni community.

Our council meeting provided a platform to discuss current issues, including the recent landslides and floods in Kerala, and to plan future activities. This meeting was crucial in shaping our upcoming projects and ensuring that we remain connected and proactive in addressing both local and global challenges.

The anticipation for “NostalGeck 2.0,” our upcoming epic reunion, was palpable as we brainstormed ideas and strategies to make it a memorable event.

The day concluded with a delightful lunch and a photo session, offering a perfect opportunity to relive old memories, forge new connections, and celebrate the vibrant spirit of GECKA.
